In the simplest terms, the ear can be viewed as a kind of operator's switchboard or system - information flows both ways. This permits a skilled therapist to do accurate, non-intrusive diagnosis and treatment of many serious illnesses and conditions.
Auricular Medicine allows access to both the nervous system and the whole of the body and allows for a quick bioenergetic assessment of the patient pinpointing organ dysfunctions, deficiencies, toxicities, infections, foci, cell abnormalities, and energy blockages at the level of emotions, organs or channels. Having utilized many other such systems Dr. Weiss has not found any to compare with it, in terms of subtlety and clarity especially on the level of emotional assessment.
“What I really appreciate about Sid's work is his
practice of Auricular Medicine. With this approach, my body lets him know
what condition my organs and system are in. From there, he prescribes
the natural medicines that can help as well as the foods that will strengthen
my whole body. I've have seen Sid for over 14 years and whenever I follow
his program, the result is vibrant, excellent health.” Thanks for
everything!

Many ancient cultures knew about the ear's important therapeutic relationship to the entire body and by the 20th Century, Auricular Medicine achieved scientific prominence. A French neurologist, Dr. Paul Nogier, discovered a direct relationship between the ear and all parts of the body. He developed a set of ’somotopic’ maps of the body projected onto the surface of the ear’s auricle. Dr. Mikhael Adams, the most prominent North American disciple of Dr. Nogier has been teaching Auricular Medicine since 1987. He is the founder and president of the International Association of Auricular & Bioenergetic Medicine - www.auricularmedicine.org.
Dr. Weiss has been an associate and student of Dr. Adams since 1989 and has taken many advanced trainings with Dr. Adams. He continually updates his training and is a member of the association.
