“Qi”
or “Chi” Gong is the ancient oriental art of cultivating Qi.
“Qi” refers to our fundamental or Vital Energy, the energy
which underlies all mental, physical and metabolic activity in our bodies.
“Gong” means discipline, art or practice. Accordingly, Qi
Gong is the art or discipline of cultivating our individual Qi which then
connects to Universal Qi – the fundamental energy that underlies
and flows through everything.
I have been a patient of Dr. Sid Weiss for approximately
ten years, ever since he helped me to make a remarkably fast recovery
from a debilitating case of Polymyalgia Rheumatic. Since then I have
worked with him to keep my immune system strong or at times to build
it again after draining life experiences or health problems. I can
certainly recommend him.

Qi Gong involves a series of movements, each done once or many times, that enhances the flow of Qi in a specific way.
This allows for the opening or interconnection of many pathways, and allows one to connect to various kinds or qualities of Qi; universal Qi, cosmic Qi, etc.
As the movements are practiced, awareness of this flow increases and one becomes more focused and concentrated.
Qi Gong is a fantastic support for healing by enhancing the flow of Qi and improving one’s general vitality and energy.
It helps to alleviate muscular-skeletal complaints caused by injury, poor posture and tension by increasing the flow of Qi and blood to the affected areas and clearing blocked or stagnant Qi.
